We started weaving with the intention to weave Matariki Stars

We made Paper Straw Rockets - powered by one breath. |

After cello-taping the balloon to the straw we checked to see how far the balloon would go. |
We even went out side and tried the Balloon Rockets again to see if they could go further. |
Gymnastics at Bruce Pulman Park.
We looked at paper planes - here we all made a basic paper plane, before choosing 2 more paper planes we would like to make and then compared them and how they fly.
We started with Plastic Bag Kites - these gave the children instant pleasure and success. Important for Year 2s.
